Biochemical and planimetric investigations of hydrophilic creams containing ceramides or dexpanthenol on the model of chemical burns

Introduction and aim. Chemical burns of the skin are common type injuries both in private life industries. Local treatment chemical using wound healing creams ointments is predominant. Hydrophobic medicinal products dominate Ukrainian pharmaceutical market but their hydrophobic base disturbs process skin. The aim this work was biochemical planimetric investigation efficacy with hydrophilic containing ceramides dexpanthenol. Material methods. experiments were performed on 30 rats weighing 190–220 g. In a rat burn model, animals exposed to 9% acetic acid solution. Treatment initiated after appearance included application effectiveness estimated parameters, such as: surface area necrotic tissue (S, mm 2 ) cumulative reparative effect. Levels markers as total protein, creatinine, C-reactive protein (CRP) content SH-groups measured rats’ blood serum. Results. It established that cream developed dexpanthenol exhibits properties at level 29 % 4.5 %, respectively. Biochemical investigations demonstrated terms CRP SH-groups, therapeutic action highly significant by factor 1.45 1.35, respectively contrast ceramides. Conclusion.
